Stevie established KeepSafe Music in 1984.

Originally located in New York City, then Miami, and now Tallahassee, Florida, Stevie continues to operate KeepSafe Music as a music teaching studio specializing in voice and piano instruction.  Emphasis is placed on the development of individual style and expression through training in technique and in the art of improvisation.

During its early years KeepSafe Music also operated an 8-track demo recording studio where students were encouraged to experiment with some of the then available analog and early digital recording techniques to create unique and imaginative ways of composing.

​

KeepSafe Music continues its philosophy of creative expression set forth during its early years and expanded its services to include music therapy, providing individual and group sessions by experienced and qualified music therapists certified by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT).
